In May, members of the product recall research team participated in several significant conferences and research talks.

This included the 8th edition of the „Marketing Strategy Meets Wall Street“ conference in Cologne, Germany (May 22-24, 2024) where Sascha Raithel (Freie Universität Berlin) and Jan von Schlieben-Troschke (Freie Universität Berlin) presented their latest research projects.

Following this, at the 53rd Annual Conference of The European Marketing Academy (EMAC) took place in Bucharest, Romania (May 28-31, 2024), Setareh Heidari (Freie Universität Berlin) presented her joint project with Sascha Raithel titled „The Effect of Media Coverage During Product Harm Crisis on Product Recall Effectiveness“. Jan von Schlieben-Troschke also delivered a presentation on his joint project with Sascha Raithel on „The financial performance impact of product recall compliance“.
